Organization Level Cash Flow Walkthrough
In this video, I will walk you through the Organization’s Cash Flow report. This shows how much cash moves in and out of your organization and across all of the projects.
It is essential for cash planning, forecasting, and decision-making. The Cash Flow report answers two simple questions: where did the cash come from, and where did it go?
Unlike profit and loss reports, this focuses on actual cash movement, not just accounting balances. At the organization level, this report shows all projects, bank accounts, and cash-related transactions.
It is important to understand that this is a cash-basis report. Unpaid invoices do not appear here until they are actually paid and the cash leaves your account.
You can filter the report by Date Range to see activity for a specific period. You can also Export the report for further analysis.
While the Aging Report tells you what is expected, the Cash Flow report tells you what actually happened.
