Where it Started
Our Journey
Our founder and CEO, Joshua Dixon, is a producer. And he kept hitting a wall.
The leading platforms required that productions use their payroll services just to access the software. This was a non-starter, as his productions were overseas, where payroll is handled locally.
Most didn’t truly support multiple languages. They took weeks to respond to basic licensing inquiries.
In almost all cases, they simply refused to work with his company—even when he offered to pay double.
That’s when Joshua saw the gap.
Each year, Joshua produces multiple original films and services major international productions and Netflix series across Asia. With high-budget shoots in Thailand, Vietnam, and beyond, he saw firsthand how the global film industry was being underserved by tools built for only one market.
But the software giants wouldn’t budge.
So he built what they refused to offer. The industry was desperate for a tool that was simply:
- Affordable: Indie and studio productions have similar needs. Indie projects shouldn’t be priced out of professional tools.
- Accessible: If you work outside the US or UK, you shouldn’t be locked out.
