Keyboard Shortcuts Explained
Okay, so these are the keyboard shortcuts. You use these to navigate the software much faster than mouse clicks.
I will go over a few of them now, and then I really encourage you to study and learn these. Once you do, the experience is much faster and more fluid.
I am on a Mac, so I will be referring to the Command key instead of the CTRL key.
So the first one is ‘Command O’, and this brings you to your budget window.
Next is the ‘Command + Arrow Up’ and the ‘Command + Arrow Down’. These are used for navigating the entire budget. And to understand this, you have to think of it in levels.
The top level of the budget is where you start, and then you drill into line items.
And to do that, you use the arrow down and up keys, so ‘Command + Arrow Down’ will drill further into that line item. This is where you see what makes up the line item, the quantity, the rates, and the line item name.
And to come back out of that line item to the top of the budget, you use the ‘Command + Arrow Up’.
Again, please take a good look at the keyboard shortcuts.
