I am going to show you how to apply Global values to a line item.

Let’s first look at the globals page by clicking on globals on the left here.

Once inside, we can see all of the globes that we have set up.

The code HARD, as in hard, this is set for hard prep days. Also, we have the name POST for post-production.

Now, let’s go back to the budget by clicking on budgets on the left.

Let’s drill down into the production staff section of the top sheet, and let’s choose the production manager, and then ‘Command + Arrow Down’ into that line item for the PM. And then on the left tab, let’s choose GL for globals.

And in the amount column, all you need to do is type HARD, and it will automatically pick up the HARD global value you are looking for. And then in units, let’s choose weeks, that means we have hard prep for 4 weeks.

And that is how you apply and change globals to line items.
