How to Modify Project Settings

In this video, I will show you how to modify project settings and manage approvers for your project. These settings help control permissions, approval workflows, and overall project behavior.

From the Projects page, select the project you want to update and open Settings.

Here, you can update the Project Name, Project Identifier, Contact, Currency, and Project Dates. You can also change the Cost Center if the project needs to be reassigned to a different business unit.

Any changes made here will apply across all Purchase Orders, Overages, and Payments linked to this project.

Next is Approvers. This section allows you to control who must review and approve transactions like Purchase Orders, ETCs, and Overages. This ensures financial control and proper authorization.

To configure this, click Add Approver. Select a Member and choose the Types of approvals they are responsible for: PO, ETC, or Overage. You can add multiple approvers for each type depending on your organization’s policies.

It is important to remember that changes to approvers apply to future approval requests. Transactions that have already been submitted will continue to follow the rules that were in place at the time of submission.
