How to Create & Modify Departments

In this video, I will explain how to create and manage departments in the organization. Departments help structure your organization internally, such as Production or Finance. This makes it easier to manage your members and their responsibilities, especially for larger organizations.

Departments are commonly used when assigning members to the organization to clarify responsibilities.

So, to create a new department, click the Add button. You will need to enter a Number Code, Name, Short Code, and a Description. Click Save to create it.

To modify a department, click the Edit button. You can update the department name or description if your organization structure changes.

If a department is no longer in use, you should Archive it. Archiving preserves historical references while preventing the department from being assigned in the future. If you ever need to use it again, you can easily Restore it from the archive list.
